How to Add People to WhatsApp: Contacts, Groups, and Beyond
Adding someone to WhatsApp isn't a single action — it branches depending on whether you're connecting one-on-one, building a group, or inviting someone who doesn't have the app yet. If a phone number is saved in your device's contacts and that person has WhatsApp installed on the same number, they'll automatically appear in your WhatsApp contact list — no extra steps needed.
