But the answer to "how much speed do you actually need?" is more nuanced than most guides let on — and the raw download number is only part of the story.
Why Download Speed Isn't the Whole Picture
Most people think about internet speed purely in terms of download speed, measured in megabits per second (Mbps). And yes, download speed matters — especially when you're pulling a 100GB game update. But for real-time online gaming, two other metrics are often more important:
